Services subject to advance payments ( Indian National).
Paragliding, rafting, trekking & high altitude travel are adventure activities and the rates do not cover any insurance, risk cover, damages, claims etc. A person coming on adventure tour has to be covered for adventure travel & activities apart from normal travel insurance. Tours Club India or any of its service providers would not be liable in any case for any mishap/loss etc.
For journey from Manali to Leh or travel in India ( Ladakh , Himanchal, Chandigarh) for any other high altitude tour a person should be covered under travel insurance and the insurance should also include adventure travel and repatriation by a helicopter.

Our transfer rates for Manali to Leh or vice versa or Lahaul - Spiti - Kinnaur travel or any other high altitude travel/ tour do not include any travel insurance/ repatriation charges/ damages/ claims etc in case of any eventuality. Insurance cover has to be from the guests country of origin or individual only and cannot be done from us here in India on arrival - Leh Ladakh are Trans Himalayan Regions which comes in rain shadow area which is relatively dry and it does not rain under normal circumstances. The days are hot as the sun rays are strong & UV rays are more in concentration. Leh, in given period would be starting of winter and may require woollens.

There can be places like

1. During a high altitude travel all places would be more than 3000 m high ranging till 5600 m. please be requested to come properly equipped with appropriate clothing/medicine and if possible to get themselves properly checked by a Qualified Physician before coming on a High Altitude tour or any tour of this type. It has to be properly understood & explained that High Altitude Tours are about travelling to the Himalayas which are the highest mountains in the World and one can expect all type of weather conditions on a tour of this type.
2. Transfers rates do not include services of a transfer rep/ Guide and if required would be charged extra.
3. Also note that cost do not include portage at hotels/ railway station/airport. If these are payable by us, would be charged as extra @ Rs 100 per person per event.
4. In Leh / Airport, the supply of vehicles to any tour operator is controlled by the local transport union. This means that Tours Club India are allocated such vehicles and their drivers as the union considers appropriate. Due to the restrictions imposed in this area, Tours Club India are unable to personally source the vehicles or monitor the standards, as is our practice elsewhere in Himachal.
5. We advise that the guests have to carry some identity proof along with him/ her during his/ her tour to Ladakh or Kinnaur & Spiti regions like driving license or voter I card or passport. This at time may be required to show at Army check posts while travelling from one place to other (in rare cases Army check posts may ask for an identity proof). Foreign nationals should also have all travel documents in original.
6. Please note, the names of hotels mentioned above only indicate that our rates have been based on usage of these hotels. It is not to be construed that accommodation is confirmed at these hotels until and unless we convey the confirmations to you on receipt of your acceptance. However in the event of any of the above mentioned hotels not becoming available at the time of initiating the reservations, we shall book alternate accommodation at a similar or next best available hotel and shall pass on the difference of rates (supplement/reduction whatever applicable) to you.

Payments ( Foreign national):

For the services contracted, partial advance payment should be made to hold the booking on a confirmed basis and the balance amount can be paid either before your departure from your country or upon arrival in INDIA-but definitely before the commencement of the services. We hold the right to decide upon the amount to be paid as an advance payment, based on the nature of services and the time left for the commencement of the services.

Apart from the above in some cases like special train journeys, hotel or resort bookings during the peak season (X-Mas, New Year and any other festival) full payment is required to be sent in advance.

Mode of Payment :

Overseas advance payment can be made through wire transfer to our bank or through Mail Authorization through Master/Visa credit card. Upon arrival in India, the payment can be made through currency notes or travelers cheque or through Master/Visa / American Express credit card. In case of payment through credit card, the bank charges-as applicable-would be levied over and above the total amount.

Cancellation Policy - No Show - Early Departure.

In case of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s we must be informed in writing. We always try to minimize the cancellation. However general Cancellation charges would be effective from the date ( except sat & sun) we receive letter in writing and cancellation charges would be as follows: -

  • 28 days prior to arrival - 25% of the tour cost.
  • 14 days to 27 days prior to arrival - 30% of the tour cost.
  • 06 days to 13 days prior to arrival - 40 % of the tour cost.
  • 02 days to 05 days prior to arrival - 50% of the tour cost.
  • Less than 48 hours or no show - NO REFUND.

In case of special train journey and peak season hotel bookings a separate cancellation policy is applicable (which would be advised as and when required).

In case you cancel the trip after commencement refund would be restricted to a limited amount that too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation and missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.

Refund against travel services : In regard to refund of unused / unutilized services (which are paid for and cancelled in advance) the refund amount would be worked out on the basis of cancellation policy as described above and the money would be accordingly refunded to the person who has made the payment to us. Please note that the refund process may take 2 - 4 weeks due to banking procedures. If the refund is made to the credit card account OR to Bank account, the bank charges would be debited from the refund amount.

Our Liabilities & Limitations

Please note that after the finalization of the tour/service cost, if there are any hikes in entrance fees of monuments/museums, taxes, fuel cost or guide charges by the Govt of India, the same would be charged as an additional.

www.manalipackagetours.com (Tours Club India) act only in the capacity of agent for the hotels, airlines, transporters, railways & contractors providing other services & all exchange orders, receipts, contracts & tickets issued by us are issued subject to terms & conditions under which these services are provided by them.All itineraries are sample itineraries with rates , intended to give you a general idea of the likely trip schedule. Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, the physical ability of the participants etc. may dictate itinerary changes either before the tour or while on the trail. We reserve the right to change any schedule in the interest of the trip participants' safety, comfort & general well being.

Our rates are based on the prevailing rates as negotiated by us with the hoteliers, airlines & other associate etc. Hotels and Airlines retain the right to modify the rates without notice. In case of such changes the rates quoted before the modification, can be changed by us according to the modifications by hotels or airlines. All hotel bookings are based on usual check in and check out time of the hotels until unless indicated in the itinerary.

We shall not be responsible for any delays & alterations in the programme or expenses incurred - directly or indirectly - due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accident, breakdown of machinery or equipments, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures or any untoward incidents.

We shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person, property, or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services, resulting - directly or indirectly - from any act of GOD, dangers, fire, accident, breakdown in machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, medical or custom department regulations, defaults, or any other causes beyond our control.

We do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country. All baggage's & personal property/s at all times are at the client's risk.
